The Supervisor of Assessment’s office has sent out over 84,000 assessment notices to Peoria County residents, who should be receiving them this week. Please note no exemptions are applied to these assessment notices. Exemptions are reflected on 2024 tax bills.
2023 is a quadrennial reassessment year. All properties, other than farmland and farm buildings, are to be revalued at 33.33% of market value. In the current real estate market, this can result in significant changes to your assessment. These assessments are used for calculating your 2024 tax bills.
