[ARCHIVED] August 13th Zoning Board of Appeals

The August 13th Zoning Board of Appeals hearing will be held in Room 403 of the Peoria County Courthouse. To encourage social distancing as directed by our Governor, we ask that you help us by considering the following options should you have an objection or consent to contribute:

Please mail comments to our office or email your comments to by August 10th at noon in order to help keep the number of people in the room to a minimum. If received by this deadline, your comments will be read into the record. Please include your name(s), address, and the case number in your remarks.

If you feel that you need to attend the hearing in person to make your comments:

  • you will need to wear a mask and must maintain 6 feet of social distance from Zoning Board members, staff, and other members of the public.
  • Room 402 will be used as a waiting room.  This room will have audio feed from Room 403 where the hearing is taking place.  Masks and social distancing will also be required in this room.
  • Please look for signs and/or information directing you where to go once you arrive on the 4th floor.  Staff will also be available to help direct you on where to go.

We thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We want to encourage the safety and well being of staff, zoning board members, and the public while also still upholding the importance of the public hearing process during this time.
