Infrastructure Maintenance and Improvements is one of the Peoria County Board’s key strategic priorities. Facility upkeep and replacement is vital to delivering quality services to our residents and ensuring our team members are able to do their jobs efficiently and safely. Investing in infrastructure and taking care of our buildings is vital to ensuring the long-term needs of the County are met.
The projects vary from our multi-million-dollar Health and Human Services building to new roofs, stonework and fountain repair to parking lot resurfacing. Funding for these projects has been budgeted from American Rescue Plan Act Funds and yearly operating funds. None are requiring Peoria County to issue debt.
To keep the public updated on the progress of all these projects, we’ll be posting periodic updates. Questions on the projects can be directed to email@example.com.
