Ways To Help

Holding Hand

You can make a difference. These are our children:

  • Sexually Abused Children - including rape, fondling, incest, child pornography, sexual exploitation
  • Serious Physically Abused Children - including broken bones, brain injury, fractured skull, internal injuries

Community Support

You can help these children. All of our services are free of charge to our clients. Only a portion of our resources comes from grants and state support. It is through your generosity that we can continue to provide assistance to children who have been abused in Peoria County. A financial contribution is used to provide direct services to our child victims and can be mailed to the Peoria County Children's Advocacy Center.

Studies have shown that the coordinated services provided by Children’s Advocacy Centers (CAC) save the community money - the savings represent $1,000 per child - an average of $300,000 annually from the Peoria County CAC (National Child Advocacy Center Cost-Benefit Analysis of Community Responses to Maltreatment, 2005).
