The courts of the 10th Judicial Circuit may observe additional holidays in line with the orders of the Supreme Court of Illinois. The Peoria County Courthouse is open, but no court will be held on the following days:
Probation Services are included in the November 11, 2024 holiday closure.
In general, the Veterans Assistance Commission, Election Commission, and Peoria City/County Health Department have the same holidays as the Courthouse. However, these facilities have independent boards, and holiday hours may vary. The Highway Department's office on Maxwell Road and the Coroner's Office follows the same holiday schedule at the Courthouse. Peoria County Animal Protection Services may change their hours based on when the holiday falls. Both the Coroner's Office and PCAPS remain on-call during any holiday closure.
