Peoria County DEI Plan

Men passing a blue relay batonOur plan, entitled the 4x4 Relay DEI Plan, focuses on four legs: talent attraction & retention, professional training & development, minority and women-owned business procurement, and external stakeholder engagement. Our plan uses the track and field 4x4 relay race metaphor to show how each leg is essential for success in creating a more equitable and inclusive environment for the constituents of the County of Peoria. Like a relay team relying on each member to pass the baton smoothly, we rely on each leg to contribute to our goal of advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
